Our Services
Functional and Physical Assessments
- Assess mobility, strength, balance, coordination, posture, and endurance.
- Identify limitations and create tailored intervention plans.
Mobility and Gait Training
- Help improve walking, transfer skills, and general movement.
- Use of gait aids (e.g., crutches, walkers, frames).
- Work on fall prevention and safe mobility.
Strength, Endurance, and Conditioning Programs
- Design exercise programs to build strength, improve cardio fitness, and manage fatigue.
- Particularly helpful for people with neurological conditions, developmental delays, or physical disabilities.
Postural Care
- Address posture to reduce pressure injuries and improve comfort.
Respiratory Care
- Helps manage secretions, improve lung function, and build physical endurance, especially for those with neurological or chronic respiratory conditions.
Assistive Technology (AT)
- Assess and prescribe equipment such as:
- Wheelchairs, walkers, standing frames
- Transfer aids, hoists, pressure care mattresses
Provide training and ongoing support in equipment use.
Hydrotherapy
Water-based therapy to reduce joint pressure and support movement.
- Often used for participants with pain, joint stiffness, or mobility issues.
Recovery Support
Support recovery or maintenance of function for participants with:
- Stroke
- Brain injury
- Spinal cord injury
- Progressive conditions (e.g., MS, Parkinson's)
Capacity Building and Goal Achievement
Help participants achieve physical goals like:
- Getting out in the community
- Participating in sport or recreation
- Increasing independence with transfers or movement
Education and Carer Training
Educate participants and carers on manual handling, stretching routines, fall prevention, and positioning techniques.
